  • Meets Tuesdays at 3 PM thru 5:15 PM, room 111.
  • A great way to meet Christian peers & encourage their mutual Faith.
  • Students welcome to pray together; share or lead in Bible study or discussion; share about youth conferences &/or personal missions trips; or to share their favorite Christian music or movie.
  • In addition to the annual "Hacienda!" Christmas party, we have done 3 floats for Homecoming parade; helped with the Clay HS Canned Food Drive; donated modestly to Relay for Life and the Hudnall fund; enjoyed guest speakers; and even had a couple Christian Step Team dance numbers!
  • CHBC also sponsors "See You At The Pole" for interested students, Thursdays 7:15-7:30 AM (fall & spring).
  • Bible Club is interdenominational.

Clay Equality Society

The Clay Equality Society (formerly known as the Clay Gay Straight Alliance) brings students of different sexual orientations and gender identities together along with allies of GLBT youth. Our goal is to create a safe place to offer support, and listen to others concerning issues they are facing. We talk about issues in our community, our school, and our nation. The discussions give students an opportunity to meet new people, hang out, and have fun.

We meet the first and third Friday of each month from 3:00 to 4:30 in room 105.

Clay High Dance Company

The mission of the Clay High School Dance Company is to provide opportunities for Clay Dance students to expand their understanding and expertise in concert dance (contemporary/modern, ballet, jazz, and world dance styles) and offer dance performance opportunities beyond those available through participation in dance classes held during the regular school day.

Participation in the Clay High School Dance Company is open to any sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled in a level II, III or IV dance class at Clay High School. Auditions are held in the spring for casting and placement purposes.

The time commitment required of participants varies according to his or her availability to attend classes and rehearsals. When the dance company is active, company class and rehearsals are held after school in the dance studio (room 146) between the hours of 3pm and 5pm most weekdays. Company class is taught from 3-4:30pm each day by a dance faculty member, with further rehearsal immediately following.

Euchre Club
Euchre club is held every Friday after school from 3:00 - 4:00 pm in the Media Center. Students do not need to know how to play euchre in order to join the club. We have members who have never played before, as well as some who have played for years. Our group is very accepting, regardless of another member's skill level. We often play "open hands" without keeping score until everyone feels comfortable about playing the game. We have snacks at each meeting (chips, candy, etc.). In the future, if all are in agreement, we may have tournaments toward the end of the school year.

Greenhouse Club

The Greenhouse Club is growing
Flowers, Food, Friendship and Fun!

Students have the opportunity to experience planting seeds and bulbs, dividing and transplanting plants.

The Clay High School Greenhouse Club works in cooperation with Unity Gardens as a community service project to provide plants for neighborhood gardens. Free fresh produce is available at the gardens in the summer for anyone in our community.

Spirit Club

Our mission is to promote school spirit and school unity!

We are an organization that is open to all Clay students. Activities include monthly meetings and active participation in one of the club’s committees: publicity, hospitality, homecoming, and community service. Our committees work to organize pep rallies, publicize Spirit Club activities, and conduct significant contributions to our school culture.
